Abstract
In the eye with astigmatism the arch of the fingers on one corneal meridian is longer than the radius of the meridian which is perpendicular where in this case glare complaints can occur. Presbyopia is a normal condition associated with the age at which accommodation decreases so it cannot depend on the general reading range. The aim was to determine the number of patients with visual impairment, know gender, and age in presbyopia patients with refractive status of astigmatismus myopicus simplex. Research Design is a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. In this descriptive method researchers can compare certain phenomena so that they are often referred to as comparative studies. The results of the study showed that there were 125 people with visual impairment with subjective refraction. From this number the status of refraction was distributed as follows. Astigmatismus 36%, Myopia 42.4%, and Hypermetropia 21.6%. While the sex of 4 men and 8 women. Of these, there are 7 people aged ≤40 years, and those who are 40 years old are 5 people. The highest case conclusion is 42.4% myopia and 21.6% lowest hypermetropia. In this case the highest was women 8 people and 4 men. Suggestions The patient's main complaints must be noted because they can help in subjective refraction examinations.
