Abstract

Collimators are radiation barriers consisting of two sets of lead shutters facing each other and moving in opposite directions in pairs. This tool has two advantages that are equipped with a wide-ranging divider that can be used and can be used as a reference to determine the center point of x-rays coming out of the window. The collimator is equipped with lights, mirrors and two shutter windows with Pb material. Often students experiencing difficulties in radiology subjects department of the D-III Electromedical Engineering STIKES Widya Husada Semarang, particularly in the media or props are minimal, especially about radiation limiting devices, the collimator. Therefore, the author wants to help the students during the radiology subjects by creating modules from digital devices that can work automatically by utilizing Arduino
