Abstract

Hypertension is a systolic pressure of more than 140 mmHg and a diastolic pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension is usually measured in both hands three times over a period of several weeks. Patients with hypertension are said to be dangerous if there is a sudden increase in blood pressure. As a result, there will be many complaints that arise such as severe headaches, feeling of spinning and sometimes accompanied by nausea. The case study subjects to be studied is the patient who only 2 respondents as the treatment group with hypertension, which was in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used by the researcher for data collection was using an observation sheet containing data on blood pressure measurements using a manometer and a stethoscope. The research was conducted in May 2022 in Panohan Gunem Village, Rembang, Central Java. The results showed that three was a change in the level of hypertension in Mrs. K. 160/100 mmHg after giving Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy for 3 days to 130/90 mmHg. While Mrs. S. 150/100 mmHg after giving Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy for 3 days to 120/80 mmHg. This case study shows a change in the level of pain before and after being given the murottal Al-Qur'an therapy. It was concluded that the application of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy reduces pain levels in hypertensive patients.
